Born and raised in Athens, Georgia, Chris knows Athens and its surrounding areas inside and out. He graduated high school from Westminster Christian Academy, obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!), and achieved his MBA from Washington State University. He has developed a deep appreciation for community and the value of homeownership early on. With roots in a town known for its charm, resilience, and close-knit spirit, he carries those same qualities into his work as a mortgage loan officer. His local upbringing not only gives him a unique perspective on the housing market but also drives his passion for helping families achieve the dream of owning a home.

 

Having spent around ten years in the mortgage and banking industries, Chris takes pride in guiding clients through one of the most important financial decisions of their lives. Whether it’s purchasing a first home, moving into something new, or refinancing for better financial stability, he works tirelessly to simplify the process and remove the stress. His dedication goes beyond just finding the right loan program—he listens carefully, educates his clients, and provides solutions that align with their goals. To him, it’s not just “going over the numbers,” but it’s digging into what borrowers actually need and helping them make a completely informed decision.

 

Outside of helping borrowers, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and two dogs. He participates in church, health and fitness, sporting, and community activities. He also loves to armchair manage his favorite sports teams – sharing in the euphoria of victory and the agony of defeat.
